Harvest Fest Express
Kick off the start of fall on the Family Affordable Naugatuck Railroad's Harvest Fest Express!
Saturday September 28th: Bounce House at Thomaston Station, vendors and activities at Fascia's Chocolates
Enjoy a relaxing train ride along the river departing from the historic Thomaston Station at 10:30AM, 12:00PM, and 1:30PM to Fascia's Chocolate Factory! All passengers will also enjoy a history narrative along the way.
Train rides will be 50 minutes in length roundtrip, with the option to lay over at Fascia's Chocolate Factory for 1 hour. Fascia’s Chocolates is celebrating their 60th Anniversary on that day with special activities and raffle prizes in addition to Fascia’s regular Harvest Fest activities, which include the chance to Make-Your-Own chocolate bar and a free mini tour.
A special VIP package for train passengers allows both of these activities to fit within the 1-hour layover but there is limited capacity and the package must be purchased in advance along with your train ticket. You can book a Fascia’s Make-A-Bar or a free mini tour separately directly with Fascia’s Chocolates by going to experienceyourchocolate.com and click on the Events Calendar. PLEASE NOTE: If purchased separately, the time slots offered will only allow for 1 of the activities in order to coincide with the 1 hour layover for your train ride.
Fall Festival activities will be available for all to enjoy at the Thomaston Station. This includes:

· Corn hole
· Ladder Ball
· Fall themed picture opportunities
