Baldwin 103 is a small 2-6-2 type steam locomotive. It operated in Alabama until 1960. In 1962, it was sold to the Empire State Railway Museum and operated in Middletown, NY until 1966. In 1971, it was the first steam locomotive to operate on the Valley Railroad at Essex, Connecticut, where it served until 1976. In 1986, it was transferred by the Empire State to RMNE and was moved to Thomaston in 2009. The Museum is beginning a restoration of this steam locomotive in the near future!
