Join the Naugatuck Railroad on our Saint Patty's Day-themed Leprechaun Express to Bad Dog Brewing Co.!
The Naugatuck Railroad has partnered with Bad Dog Brewing Co. and Nutmeg Fudge Company of Torrington to bring back our 4th annual Leprechaun Express! This Saint Patty's Day themed train will depart on Friday, March 14th at 6pm and Saturday, March 15th at 5pm from the Thomaston Station, whisking passengers on a 45 minute trip to Bad Dog Brewing Company in Torrington!
While en route, multiple beer tastings will be served.
Upon arrival, guests will enjoy a hearty meal choice of
1.Traditional Corned Beef, Cabbage and Carrots
2. Chicken and Pasta
3.Baked Ziti (Vegetarian Option)
All meals will include a side of rye bread and potato
Friday Night is Trivia Night and Saturday is live music in the beautifully restored vintage firehouse.
The Nutmeg Fudge Company will be onboard for the return trip, serving some of their delicious fudge homemade right in Torrington.
Additional beer will be available for purchase while in Torrington, as well as additional fudge on the return trip to Thomaston.
First Class will include seating in our 1927 restored lounge car or our Leprechaun Lounge with extra goodies from Nutmeg Fudge and an additional tasting of Beer from Bad Dog Brewing.

Please Note: Schedule and Menu will be adhered to as closely as possible, but are subject to change if necessary. All tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. This event is not handicap accessible and requires a short walk from the train to the venue plus a staircase to the second floor. Currently no elevator is available in Torrington.
