kids ride free!

The Naugatuck Railroad and Railroad Museum of New England are proud to announce our own Kids Ride Free program this year with the absence of the CT Summer at the Museum: Free Admission for Kids programing state wide in 2024.

This “NAUGKIDS” program will allow ALL KIDS to ride select Naugatuck Railroad excursions for free!  In past years, a similar program has only been available to Connecticut residents, but the museum board of directors and railroad management have decided that ALL families can participate under our new “NAUGKIDS” discount program, regardless of where they live!

This offer is good for any Naugatuck River Scenic or Torrington Twilight Express excursions departing between Friday, June 14th and Monday, September 9th !

This program is designed for families, not large groups.  The discount program on Naugatuck Railroad tickets will APPLY to CHILD tickets with the PURCHASE of an ADULT Ticket. VALID in COACH CLASS ONLY. LIMIT one redemption per household. Discounted transactions are NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE! Reservations must be made in advance, as discounted tickets WILL NOT be sold at the station. Station grounds and museum admission remains free for everyone!
